Training for a marathon will put stress on the body and as race day approaches the exercise load will increase. For the body to adapt and get stronger it needs rest, recovery, and fuel. This Collection is designed to fuel the toughest sessions in a typical marathon training week — the intentional workouts that need carbohydrates. As training progresses towards race day, the intensity of threshold sessions and the duration of long runs will both increase. So will your need to fuel appropriately.
To optimize this Collection it assumes starting with a solid foundation and recent long run experience, ideally up to half marathon distance.
