The Maurten Cycling Training Collection is designed to fuel 2 weeks of structured training — 1 long ride and 1 high-intensity interval session per week. Practicing with sports nutrition in training allows cyclists to maintain performance, recover faster, increase carbohydrate fuel consumption, and adapt from session to session. How to use

The Cycling Training Collection is made to fuel 2 weeks consisting of 1 long ride and 1 high-intensity interval training session — indoor or outdoor — per week.

Each week Long ride (180 min+)
3x Drink Mix 320 — consume 1 per hour

Interval session — 40/20s, Over/Unders, Sweetspot, or VO2 Max
1x Gel 160 — consume during warm up 10-30 mins before ride
1x Drink Mix 320 — drink during ride

Real food — When undertaking a sustained training plan, the body needs to be consistently well fed. The best source of nutrition before and between high-intensity workouts will come from real food options. Revert to sports fuel for the specific needs of digesting carbohydrates in the session.

Drink Mix 320

Drink Mix 320 is a liquid carbohydrate sports fuel that encapsulates carbohydrates in Hydrogel Technology. It instantly changes from a liquid to a hydrogel once it meets the stomach acid — minimizing the sensation of liquid sloshing in the stomach and making it easier for athletes to consume high concentrations of carbohydrates and maintain performance. Contains 80 grams of carbohydrates when dissolved in 500ml of water.

Gel 160

Gel 160 is a unique structure that encapsulates carbohydrates in Hydrogel Technology. An easy-grab, portable fuel that’s a firm — not syrupy — gel. Making it easier to fuel during high-intensity training. Contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.
