Use DPD delivery who are absolutely awful. Two fictitious deliveries missed snd then told can pick up from shop over 30 miles away! Get to shop and have fight getting parcel. First too late to pick up at 5.30pm, shop shuts at 11pm. Then DPD Machine not working. After threatening to make complaint finally agrees to get package!? Few minutes rummaging in back and I get my parcel. Very annoying

I have been using Maurten Gels & Drink Mix for the last few years. They have delivered on their promise and very reliable and dependable for my fueling needs.

Order never arrived. Emailed customer 3 times. Automated response with no communication other than confirmation that my ticket had been received. Still don’t know how this will be resolved. Credit card has been charged and I don’t have my product… just glad I don’t have a race coming up.

I’ve been using the gels and bicarb system about 6 months.Both work perfectly. No guts issues. Tasteless. The gels doesn’t need water to swallow. I was suffering badly with others brands. I used bicarb system in my first marathon last month and I can tell you this product is amazing. No cramping legs. It does the job very well. It’s helping me to get my Prs in many races. I’m feeling confident to say that Maurten takes it serious when the subject is Fuel for sports.

I started using Maurten gels when I saw they would be used for the Boston Marathon. I have been using them for a year now and I am very satisfied with the product. For long run days and marathons I alternate between the gel caf and regular gel. It seems to be a perfect balance for me and I have never had any G.I. Issues with the gels. It’s a calming feeling to know I am fueling in a way that helps me continue to feel strong.

Ordering process i can´t say, because i won the starter package via grouprides.cc The product that i tested (Drink Mix 160) by now leaves a good performance. Taste is also okay, very restrained, i like that.

I have had plantar fasciitis for the past 4 months and unable to train for my upcoming marathon. Great products! I love the guide based on the type of sport and instance (race, training, etc). I really appreciate the flask as a gift. The only thing I missed was that I considered the parcel excessively big with air bags which I consider not very sustaible. This could be improved. That being said, I definitely will continue to buy Maurten products.

In all honesty I did do one of the biggest no no 's in marathon running and used a new source of nutrition in a race but it was a calculated risk knowing the breakdown of the products. But for a first try these products are really great and I can see why they are turning into the leading nutrition brand. I had been putting this brand off due to the price tag but can see why now. I tired the GEL 100 with caffeine and the drink 160 which got me through to the finish. can't wait to try the rest.

I'm not happy with the customer service of the product. The expiration date of the product is within 5 weeks of my order date. I ordered the product on 2 October and the expiration date on the box is 9 November. I ordered this in preparation for my marathon on 10 December. I really planned to use this during the later days closer to race day but now I'm forced to use it before then. Moreover, its now a "best buy" day but a hard expiration date; thus, I'm unsure about using it past the date printed. This is my first time ordering with Maurtens, and its not a great start to a relationship with a regular customer. It's definitely a sign of sloppy quality assurance. Nonetheless, I'm highly disappointed. I just feel rushed to have to use the product. If all of the products actually expire within two months, then I think it should be clearly published on the website.

Product is great but thought I ordered 1 box of gels with caffeine and 1 box without. Two boxes without showed up… didn’t both to contact company as I needed them in too short a time frame.

While the gels may not be the best tasting, they are so easily digestible. The gels are easy on my stomach and very effective without making me feel jittery.

These gels, both the 100 and 160 are a revelation. I wasn't sure about the taste to begin with as the gels are quite sweet. However, the affect on my overall performance on a long mountain bike ride and my energy levels was so noticeable. I'm 60 years old and this is my first time using Maurten's gels but not my last. I really like the use of Maurten products for training and race day. My last request for Maurten gels 100, 100 caffeine and starter packs was mostly good for the gel packs. The issue were the starter packs. Both had expiration dates on the bars and gels that were in two months. I told the company and they sent me a new pack and the same issue occurred. These should expire at greater than 4 months. I was a little disappointed that this happened twice and just gave up on the starter packs. There was no issue with the gel packs.

Better than all others … including the Caffeinated ones

Ordered the gel160 and used on my local triathlon on the weekend, in addition to mix160 and gel100. Perfect size now, reducing number of feeds on bike and run. Perfect! I consumed it over 3:30h and I felt as good as I could on this competition.
