Product availability seems to be a lingering issue. I really like the mixes and gels, but have had to resort to purchasing other brands because of stockouts.

While the gels may not be the best tasting, they are so easily digestible. The gels are easy on my stomach and very effective without making me feel jittery.

Flavour is a great change from the super sweet gels I am used to. Texture goes down easy and requires little to no water alongside. No GI distress even with the 160 gel. I understand the hype around this gel now!

These gels, both the 100 and 160 are a revelation. I wasn't sure about the taste to begin with as the gels are quite sweet. However, the affect on my overall performance on a long mountain bike ride and my energy levels was so noticeable. I'm 60 years old and this is my first time using Maurten's gels but not my last. They are not cheep but worth the money.

I really like the use of Maurten products for training and race day. My last request for Maurten gels 100, 100 caffeine and starter packs was mostly good for the gel packs. The issue were the starter packs. Both had expiration dates on the bars and gels that were in two months. I told the company and they sent me a new pack and the same issue occurred. These should expire at greater than 4 months. I was a little disappointed that this happened twice and just gave up on the starter packs. There was no issue with the gel packs.

Better than all others … including the Caffeinated ones

Ordered the gel160 and used on my local triathlon on the weekend, in addition to mix160 and gel100. Perfect size now, reducing number of feeds on bike and run. Perfect! I consumed it over 3:30h and I felt as good as I could on this competition.

Many of my friends love maurten. It should be easy to digest and give that extra support on longer runs. So I ordered myself a few gels 100. Ordering was easy and simple. Shipping was quick and I also really like the design of the packaging. Nevertheless I had massive stomach issues with the gel which eventually ended in negative running experiences. I tried it a few times but it was unfortunately not sensitive to my stomach

I completed the Bigfoot 200 (209 Mile) with 45,000 feet of elevation gain over rugged mountain terrain. I fueled exclusively with Maurten products for the 105 hours. I never ran out of energy and never had stomach problems in days of 90+ heat and very steep climbs. At age 73, I am the oldest finisher ever in this race.

I really like Maurten products, they are very simple and light. When I am racing the last thing I want is strong flavours which is why I use Maurten Gel's and drinks on race day and towards the end of my training block. As with any drink or gel, practice with it during your training before you race. There is a big difference between what you can stomach when resting and when you have just run for an hour. Stationary taste tests are pointless. For me the extra cost of Maurten compared with other brands is well worth it. Over a half marathon distance I run faster, it's as simple as that.

The taste is not so good. But it works great. I love that it is easy on the stomach.

Fast shipment is not always a good thing... I made a mistake in my order, sent a message asking to cancel it while I placed another other (this time correct), This was all done in less than 20 minutes and when I got the reply I was told that they could not do anything as both orders were already shipped... so I ended up with way more gels than I actually need!

The product works well and is tollerated well. It's pricey, but since this is what will be on course at the race, I chose to use it. I am traveling to the race so the less I need to pack the better.

Sadly Maurten is using DPD as a delivery company. That makes it impossible to recive the product on time. There for -2 Starts 5 Stars if they use a customer frindly delivery company that even tries to deliver the order.

I ordered the products and they never were shipped. I contacted customer service and they refunded the order. They told me to place another order in order to receive the products. I used a coupon for the original order that they now will not honor. The products seem good when I've used them. However I will not be shopping with this company anymore based on how poor their customer service is. It's really a shame. They lost a customer for life.

Maurten products are amazing. I've never had any issues with them and will always recommend them to friends and family who are looking for Nutrition for long distance races. The gels give that boost of energy which keep you going and I've recently tried the drink 160 mix which I'll be using going forwards as well. Expensive but a great product to help you get the most out of your race day

Product works as promised. The Gel packaging needs improving - avoiding littering (attach rip-off part) and not cutting one corner of the mouth is a challenge. Ordering and delivery is easy. Worth the money!
