What is the cost to join the Maurten Membership?

The Maurten Membership is free to join.

How does Fuel a friend work?

A:

Fuel yourself by fueling a friend on Hydrogel Technology.

Level 3 and level 4 Maurten Members can invite other athletes to join the Maurten Membership with a personal referral link. The referred athlete can then save 15% on maurten.com — once they join the Membership and make their first purchase, the Maurten Member who referred them can also get 15% off their next refuel.

During periods when higher savings are available — such as Member Days — the larger discount will override the Fuel a friend offer.

What benefits come with the Maurten Membership?

A:

There are 4 membership levels — 1,2, 3, and 4. By collecting points and moving through the levels, you access more exclusive performance benefits. As a member, certain membership benefits will be available no matter your level. These include access to new or limited products, discounts on soon-to-be expired products, race bib raffles, Q&As with athletes, and free shipping on specified orders.

Membership benefits vary and are adapted to our members, season, and time of year. We do not guarantee that your membership benefits will always be the same, and we reserve the right to remove, change, replace and/or offer new benefits at any time.

How does the Membership work?

A:

As a member, you collect points by purchasing products from maurten.com. Points for orders are only counted from the day you join the membership. Additional points can be gained by signing up to the newsletter, completing surveys, and participating in challenges. Points from product purchase are directly correlated to the price of the product, converted to Swedish Kronor (SEK). For the current conversion rate, see below:

What is the Maurten Membership?

A:

The Maurten Membership is a kitbag of curated performance benefits, all purposefully designed to help you train and race better — to raise your level. Access gives members offers from partner brands, exclusive training advice from the Maurten Nutrition Team, race bib raffles, and more. It's free and you can cancel at any time.

Q:

How do I get points?

A:

As a Maurten Member, you collect points by purchasing products on maurten.com. Purchases made on any other sites — or before joining the membership program — do not count. Additional points can be gained by signing up to the newsletter, completing surveys, and participating in challenges. Points for recurring activities that can be done more than once — such as purchases or surveys — will be reset after 12 months.

Points that never reset — activities that can only be done once — include signing up to the Maurten newsletter or filling out your account information.

Q:

How long are my points/my membership valid?

A:

Your current membership level is based on your total points over the last 12 months. Your points — only including points gained from purchases and other point-based activities that are recurring and can be generated more than once — will therefore be reset to zero every 12 months.

Every day, the total amount of points earned in the last 12 months is tallied up. When you reach the points needed to qualify for the next membership level, your membership will automatically be upgraded. Once you reach a new membership level, you’re locked in to that level for at least 12 months — unless you reach the amount of points needed to move to a higher level during the same period.

Your membership will remain valid as long as you are active and have not canceled your membership. If you are inactive for 24 months, your membership will be terminated, and you will no longer have access to your accumulated points and benefits.

Q:

Why haven’t I received my points, even if I have placed my order?

A:

Points are collected once an order has been placed and paid for. Points will be removed if the order is returned/refunded.

Q:

Multiple offers — can I combine membership offers with my IRONMAN code?

A:

Depending on the offer, it may or may not be possible to combine membership offers — like free shipping or access to exclusive products — with external discounts. Discount codes offered through the membership cannot be combined with any other discounts.

Q:

Can I transfer my point membership to another member?

A:

No. Transfer of membership to another account is not possible. You can update email and address preferences at any time.

Can I share my membership with someone?

A:

No.

How do I know what my level is?

A:

Your current level is visible on the top left of your account page, above the welcome message. Your total collected points are visible in the top right.

Q:

Can I cancel/pause/unsubscribe my Maurten membership?

A:

It is not possible to pause the Maurten Membership, but you may unsubscribe at any time via the  contact form. Write “Unsubscribe from the Maurten Membership” in your message, including the email that you used to create the membership.

All data entered during the membership — as well as all points accrued — will then be deleted. You will no longer have access to the benefits and services of the Maurten Membership.

Maurten Memberships will be automatically terminated if you have been inactive — meaning not purchased any products or taken part in any other point-based activity — within 24 months.

Q:

I am moving to another country. How can I update my Maurten profile?

A:

You can update your contact information and address at any point on your account page. Only purchases made through maurten.com are eligible for points — purchases made through distributor sites are not currently eligible for Maurten Membership points.
